Our Warehouse Operations team is one of the most vital departments in the company. We have a dedicated team of receivers who receive up to 200 loads per week. Our picking crew uses state-of-the art voice pick equipment and they pick several thousand pieces per week. Due to our unique customer service model, we can guarantee next day delivery to our customers which keeps our warehouse operations team very busy 24 hours per day!

Additional Compensation Details:

$22.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Potential 90-day performance-based raise.
Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

Job Description

The Role

Keep banana ripening rooms in clean and orderly condition daily. Duties will also include performing routine maintenance activities, food safety program updates, and requirements and notifying management of facility repairs. Under limited supervisor, performs a variety of semi-skilled work, specifically maintenance.

**ENTRY LEVEL**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all sections and walls in the banana room areas.
Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems.
Maintain and troubleshoot problems in the refrigeration units in the warehouse coolers including cleaning in banana room areas.
Perform preventative building maintenance duties.
Track supplies, equipment and materials as needed to perform daily tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Previous experience cleaning and working with compressors.
Ability to work OT as requested by management to complete special projects.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.
Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse up to 7-8 hours at a time.
Ability to work in the outdoor elements as the job needs arise.

Preferred Skills and Experience

1+ years of previous building maintenance and facilities experience.
1+ years of working knowledge of refrigeration repair/maintenance.
