We are in the final phase of our multi-million dollar modernization project that is transforming the way we do business to better serve our customers. We are hiring an additional two/three Product Owners to align business solutions with enterprise-wide technology initiatives and projects. These positions work with their assigned division, product owners assigned to other divisions, the Enterprise Governance Manager, and the DRIVES production support team to facilitate and implement changes and enhancements to DOL systems. They will assist in developing strategic initiatives using performance management data to promote and prioritize agency efforts, and research and write issue papers that facilitate decision-making. The individuals selected for these roles will be co-located with their division and function as a member of the division's management team. They will report directly to the Enterprise Governance Manager in the Enterprise Program Management Office. Please Note The hiring authority may make a hiring decision at any time. Required Qualifications Applicants who possess the following qualifications may be referred to the hiring manager: * Three years of experience conducting research, gathering, compiling, and analyzing information, statistics, and other data, and preparing and presenting data. * Two years of experience planning, coordinating, and facilitating groups and/or project teams and leading the development of goals, objectives, timelines, and action plans. * Experience performing intermediate functions of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Preferred Qualifications Applicants who also possess the following may receive additional consideration by the hiring manager: * Associate's degree or higher in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Computer Sciences, or a closely related field. * Project management experience involving system projects, forms changes, performance measures, and/or legislation. * Experience motivating and influencing people and outcomes without direct authority. * Experience acting as a champion for agency policies, continuous process improvements, and performance measure efforts. * Experience facilitating groups and/or project teams involving internal staff and external stakeholders, and executive management. * Experience or knowledge of cross-divisional technology systems related to business licensing. * Experience providing support of technology projects. * Experience or knowledge of legislative and rule development processes.
