offer opportunities for a Precision Assembly Rework Mechanic, to
join our Fabrication team in Everett and Renton, Washington. As a
Precision Assembly Rework Mechanic, you will be essential in
ensuring the integrity and quality of our aircraft assemblies. Your
expertise will involve determining the methods and tools required
to rework and repair precision machined parts and interpreting
technical documents to guide your work. You will collaborate with
team members to disassemble, fit, and assemble components,
utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure proper
specifications are met. Your ability to fabricate custom tools and
fixtures will enhance our production capabilities and contribute to
the overall success of our operations. You will play a critical
role in upholding our commitment to safety and quality standards
and ensuring that all operations meet regulatory compliance and

aviation. Position Responsibilities: - Determine methods, sequence,
equipment, and tools required to perform rework and repair of
precision machined parts installed in completed aircraft assemblies
to correct damage or errors. - Work with and interpret prints,
documents, sketches, specifications, and verbal information to
guide repair processes. - Disassemble, finish, fit, check, and
assemble parts and assemblies, ensuring proper mating and fit. -
Use precision measuring instruments and equipment to derive
required measurements from parts and assemblies. - Lead and work
with employees of lower classification, providing guidance and
support as needed. - Receive work assignments from various sources
(e.g., shop lead, online systems, NCR, IP) and coordinate with shop
priorities. - Ensure correct part numbers and quantities are
issued, checking for visible defects against the BOM and IP. -
Operate mechanical lifts (e.g., tiger and snorkel lifts) as
required to move materials safely. - Set up assembly tools per
tooling instructions or drawings, ensuring all locators are correct
for the model configuration. - Fabricate detail parts from raw
stock and design custom drills, reamers, and core drills for
specific tasks. - Operate conventional milling and lathe machines
to fabricate custom shop aids (e.g., step pins, drill jigs) as
required. - Drill, ream, and countersink oversized/re-work holes in
parts/assemblies to correct sizes, setting tools to proper depths.
- Apply sealant, alodine, primer, and adhesives as required by work
orders or Boeing specifications. - Design and fabricate
one-of-a-kind boring and milling fixtures and router fixtures for
close tolerance machining where conventional tools cannot be used.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in an approved manner,
maintain a written tie-in book for communication with other shifts,
and obtain a two-way radio and confined space flag before working
in confined spaces. Physical Demands and Potential Hazards: -
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from
10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs. - Engage in various movements such as
reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing,
balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting. - Work in
environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and
coolants. - Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp
cutters, and potential slipping hazards. - Adapt to varying noise
levels and atmospheric conditions. - Utilize personal safety gear
to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job
duties. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance
requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §
120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful

Through Training Program). Basic Qualifications: - Experience
interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches and written and
verbal instructions, in English - 5 years of experience in setting
and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as
micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators - Must be willing and
able to work in confined spaces - 5 years of experience using
software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft
Suite and/or other specialized computer applications - 5 years of
experience using math that includes addition, subtraction,
multiplication, division, decimals and fractions - 3 years of
experience in a machine or aviation shop environment - 1 years of
experience operating manual mill and manual lathe machines
Preferred Qualifications: - 3 years of experience in aircraft,
automotive or ship re-work (including but not limited to: metals,
bearings, bushings, composites) Typical Education & Experience:
High school graduate or GED preferred. Relocation: Relocation
